An introduction:
The program is meant to meet the comprehensive developmental expansions in both the Arab world in general and in Egypt in particular and a graduate able to meet non-stereotypical requirements.

Graduates of maps and distance programs will be prepared for jobs in:
The different types of distance authorities
Engineering offices and contracting companies
Roads and petroleum and mining companies
Decision making support centers in municipals
Environmental and urban observatories
Services and planning centers
Printing and publishing houses
The academic degree
After four academic years, students graduate with a B.A in maps and distance programs.
Program’s vision:
The program aims to distinguish itself among its counterparts in the level of the Arab and Egyptian Universities through providing the best educational environment to prepare qualified graduates able to meet the requirements of the labor market
Program’s mission:
To prepare students with adequate academic, field and research skills in maps, survey and geographic information systems to help them meet the requirements of the labor market.
- Regulations of studying at the program
- This program is based on credit hours system.
- To graduate, Student must complete 168 accredited hours divided into 144hours for obligatory courses and 24hours for optional courses
- Every student is allowed to register for 20hours per term.
- In all levels of the program, the student can choose his or her optional courses but mustn’t exceed four courses. In the first level, the student chooses just two academic courses
Admission Rules:
Applicants must meet the requirements of the supreme council of universities. Following the approval of the university council, the faculty council can accept the applicants with a B.Sc. from the faculty of Arts according to the conditions set by the faculty council and approval by the university council.
The students can be exempted from the courses they studied during the first degree according to the regulations set by the faculty.
Students at other Egyptian or foreign Universities can be transferred to study in the program on meeting the requirements of joining the faculty. The students can be exempted from the courses he/she studies at the faculty he/she transfers from according to the conditions and bylaws set by the faculty.
